Hopefully, Tony is still asleep. It is only 5:36 in San Diego. I'm sure he will take some sort of appropriate action when he wakes up and sees this.

I don't mean to sound mean, but I truly can't believe anyone would even believe a story like this. As Muncle said, it is not economically responsible for a major company such as Clorox to make a specialty item that would only be used in a very small market.

Now, it might be possible that a deal was made that if The Villages made these specific garbage bags mandatory there would be a kickback of some sort for this. Even so, I really doubt that would occur and it certainly wouldn't be as much as $0.07 per box or per 100 or per whatever. Some things in life just don't make sense.

These bags have been around for quite awhile. They are recyclable although Glad won't take them back because recycling them is cost prohibitive (they are made out of recyclable materials, though). The Villages isn't the only township to require them for recycling.
