Over ten years ago while living in Port Charlotte Florida (2 hours away) we replaced our Bermuda Greens with Champion developed out of Texas). The greens were killed (Gassed and Round-up)and sprigged on top of the existing greens that were killed (this is a no-till process). In 8 weeks we were putting on beautiful greens that did not require overseeding. This was over 10 years ago, so the grasses and technology are available.
