I prefer the bags over the bins for the reasons stated above.

I keep my garbage bag in a garbage can in the garage and fill it and then take it outside on Sunday and Wednesday. Now - if I DO decide to recycle I will have two gagage cans in the garage that I will fill. Unfortunately the recycleable one will get fuller since it is once a week and I will now need three garbage cans to take care of the garbage.

Fortunately the recycling is not mandatory so I can still get by with the the one can/bag.

Unfortunately, my monthly garbage cost still goes up $1.47 a month.

Some things just suck.
