Default Re: Publix makes deal with TV

To comment on the original point of the topic, the story in The Daily Sun says:

But the local stores say they’re getting ready and putting the products on the shelves. An array of local merchants, including Ace Hardware stores at both La Plaza Grande and Southern Trace (which have 1,200 boxes each), Wal-Mart locations in The Villages and Summerfield, Publix stores throughout The Villages, Sweetbay in Lake Sumter Landing, Winn-Dixie at La Plaza Grande, Home Depot in Lady Lake, as well as Lowe’s Home Improvement in Lady Lake, have stocked the clear plastic bags that are needed to participate in the curbside-recycling program. Other local businesses may add the product.

Does that mean that they will get the 7 cents per bag from these merchants too? This makes the original assertion from the employee ridiculous, to use a kind word.
