You would never know that the middle class is being left behind at Disney. People who cannot afford it are just putting the vacation on the credit cards and paying the minimum payment for high interest rates.
I first went to Disney World in 1972. I thought the cost of admission plus the book of tickets (A-rides through E-rides was $6) and I got a dollar discount through my employees association.
Who remembers that far back, though?
Back in 1961, I sold soda at the Minnesota Twins games. A large cup of soda (with ice) was 15 cents. Customers griped because a soda was 10 cents everywhere else. Beer was 40 cents at the ball park.
