Any discipline that, such as "policital science", that has to put the word "science" in it's name always creates doubt in my mind as to whether it is really a science. Regardless, Alinski's ideas only work with a dumb electorate, which is what we essentially have. In that regard, I guess you could say he is brilliant for recognizing that most people are dumb.

I am not a Democrat. I am a Progressive. I only had one seminar under Saul Alinski. No matter what you think of his political views and methods, he was a brilliant political scientist.
