We found the same thing when we originally started looking. Like you, we were surprised that such similar models were presented as entirely different when, in fact, the differences might more logically be considered options. Oh, but when we started looking there were no options. We fell in love with the Gardenia - than found the Begonia - and the Sunflower - and even the premium Williamsburg. Even within narrow bands - cement block designers - we (like you) found many nearly identical homes (Lantana-Iris, Bridgeport-Holly, etc.). I assume this has proven to be a successful sales tactic making each of us feel that "our home" is at least a bit unique. Having said that, what impressed us much more was how lovely the entire place looked!
