We need to be careful what we wish for. It started with the Nativity scene and the mention of Christ in Christmas store ads. Then the Ten Commandments and any reference to Christianity, which have all been banned on "Public Property". Christians cannot gather in public buildings, but streets of NYC are closed down at noon so that Muslims can pray en masse to Mecca.
Today it's the Confederate Flag. Tomorrow, who knows?...maybe the American Flag will be deemed "offensive" by some group. Our freedoms are being decimated, one by one, and with disturbing rapidity.
It's not merely the Confederate Flag...it's the right of a proud people, many of whom lost loved ones in the struggle to keep it, to fly it without fear of retribution. Remember the quote, "...
