President Obama is the only one with veto rights. If you gave him the bipartisan Senate bill in 2012, he would have signed it. The Republican House is currently the one that has taken the stance it is my way or nothing. One Republican stated, "Give us everything we want, and we will call that a comprise."
Concerning the possible future votes of illegal when they become citizens, what difference does in make? I think it will be 10+ years in the future. If future (2016 is the future) Republican hopefuls need the Hispanic vote, why upset them more? You want to lose keep up the hard line on immigration.
How can anyone in the right mind say that the current immigration laws are working? If it waiting list is so long for Hispanics to get here through legal means, maybe they should increase the number of people that can here legally. They are here, and the overwhelming majority are following our laws no matter what Trump thinks.
What was wrong with Obama's executive order other the man to made it?
