I'm scared for my husband to have this surgery when Medicare approves the facility. I know somepeople are having back problems again after the surgery. But they are saying no it is not due to the surgery. Would like other opinions. Thanks
I had a spinal fusion (L4-L5) the end of February and am still in pain except when taking Hydrocodon. Was told that I still had inflammation and could possibly take up to a year to "fully recover." I had a fusion (L5-S1) in 1961 (used my own bone). This fusion used rods/screws). In my case is age a factor (77)??, fusion above an old fusion?? Plan to try therapy.
