So American companies move manufacturing to China to increase the bottom line and grow the Chinese economy. With the growth of the Chinese economy the Chinese government buys U.S. debt. Meanwhile in the U.S. less people are working so they have to buy cheaper goods made in China. One day we get a wake up call that China is buying American businesses, stealing technology, and hacking into our computers. I guess we didn't see this train coming toward us 20 years ago. All Aboard!!!
China isn't a democracy. It's a hybrid Capitalist Communist country with 40% of corporate profit earned by state owned business.
