And that's just this year.
Some of the appeal of the historic district to me is the variety of houses styles and colors and landscaping. It makes me a little sad to think of the whole place being turned into blocks and blocks of beige sameness. But that's just nostalgia on my part. The buyers snapping up the new builds are, I'm sure, delighted with their lovely and well-built homes.
