Be careful with this practice now. Many European airports have contracted with money exchange companies (Travelex, for example) and are replacing bank ATM machines with ATM's that are run by money exchanges. And they have a higher rate. A lot of these are being placed in the baggage claim areas. They look just like ATM machines.
If you use an ATM at an airport in a foreign country, make sure it's an actual bank ATM. It should have the name of the bank on it.
