It is hard to believe in a community of 100,000 people that we don't have adequately supplied art rooms. Many people use oil paints and thinners that cause air pollution and allergic reactions among sensitive people. YOU CAN open the door, but the downside to that is it causes the room to be hot or cold depending on the outside temperature. There is NO place to store your art project unless you are a clayer or a ceramic person and they get a WHOLE room for their kiln. The rest of us have to drag heavy stuff in and out and it is a strain on our backs. There is not one pencil sharpener in any of the art rooms in the entire place and we are forced to bring our own. There are NO easels supplied. We have to buy our own supplies and that is expensive for some. We only have seven well lighted and beautifully decorated art rooms with large portable mirrors so that the class can see what the instructor is doing........ Given the size of our community and the number of serious artists............
