"Dear" rubicon: I do not know if you were joking or not.
But whether you were or were not joking the message sent by you was not funny in my view.
It was not funny because it recycles a nasty myth which in my view, and perhaps others, is not respectable of seniors - that we seniors are senile. Everyone knows a loofah is on the car so it's handy if we need to scrub a pot in an emergency. As for that mechanical hand waiving at you - are you sure it was mechanical?
