Just because a few people had what appear to be successful implants doesn't mean they were done correctly. Do a quick Internet search for dental implant lawsuits. You will be supprised at the number there are and that some have had multiple lawsuit and are still doing implants. One lawsuit doesn't mean the doctor doesn't know what they are doing but multiple lawsuits ????

You're spot on as far as having the technology available to get the ultimate view for placement. It is quite an investment, but there is no getting around it. The most important part, of course, is the interpretation of the view. And that is why a highly sklilled dental implants periodontist is so crucial. But the research and time is well worth the outcome. Proper dental implants are care free.
