That's true...but how many times has someone commented on an old thread and inadvertently caused chaos? Such as quoting a post from a long time ago, to be followed by posters who think it's a new thread, quoting and rehashing old arguments. And then comes the comments saying "this thread is from months/years ago!!!" "Why are you dredging up old news?" "Nice first post, are you a troll?"
