I personally would have been afraid that my child would get hurt and would move her/him away from the big grownups. Some of those dances you are turning fast multiple times. So easy not to see a little one. I would feel bad if the child got hurt and really bad if I fell & maybe broke a hip.

I agree. And I also wonder if once confronted with their lack of parenting skills, (attending to the little girl's safety), they became defensive and stubborn.
