Democrats like entitlements they like income redistribution. They like giving away other people's money. that what the earned income credit is about. Its what's behind the silly CEO to clerk ratio pay scheme? Its what Obamacare is about.

Earned Income Credit - Created 1975 (Ford) - modified 1986 (Reagan) eliminated some other deductions, and rolled them into the EIC, modified (Bush senior) reduced the credit, which increase taxes a no no, 2001 ("W") increased EIC.

Now to the socialist, 2009 Amer. Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and 2010 Tax Relief, and Unemployment Redistribution Act both helped primarily large families recover form the great recession. What socialist program caused the great recession? Giving mortgages to people that couldn't affords them, wasn't a Democrat program. The abuse of the mortgage industry, large banks, and Wall Street landed in "W's" lap. His solution bailing out the too big to fail banks, Wall Street, and AIG isn't a handout to solve a problem. Obama bails out GM, and Romney tries to crucify for it. The problem with Republicans is they never accept responsibility for anything.

Just curious what do you call it when a Republican president gives away other peoples money? Sometimes like "W" gives a little to middle, and lower class, so he can give much more to the upper class.

The Affordable Care Act is a gives away people's money. When the uninsured used the emergency ward as their primary care physician, that wasn't given people's money thru higher health care rates. 22 million people now have health care insurance now than before. The health insurance carriers are the problem. Allowing healthcare providers to cross state lines isn't the answer. Single payer is. It will never happen.

This president's reckless foreign policy. Who invaded Iraq that spun the middle east out of control?

As far as being wrong in Washington, that is something that is truly bipartisan. However, Republicans excel in the blame game. I am a middle of the road independent. Given how far the Republicans have moved to right, we are now called socialists. We are not the problem Republicans are. When your path to the majority is obstruction, we are on a road to nowhere. I am voting for Kasich in the primary. Hopefully, he can steer Republicans back on the track.

What policies do you thing the Republicans have to take to get the youth vote? The Democrats aren't buying their vote as this thread indicted. Republicans are turning them away.
