Such a shame when a good brand goes down.

I think we had the same problem as the OP, and that didn't qualify as noise.

It is a whine that enters your ears, bounces around your brain, and exits your eyeballs.

It was intermittent; that's why DH recorded it. Didn't capture the full range, but it helped.
