Secure the border, and then talk non stop the immigration problem. Boehner tried to sell that nonsense. Breakup up the immigration bill into parts. The first part being securing the border. Everyone knew there would never be a second step.

The Senate immigration bill was take it or leave it. It was reported in many places that the Senate bill would have been approved, if it was put on the House floor for a vote. Nobody was twisting anybody's arm. President Obama acted, because he knew nothing would ever get done with the current state of politics.

As long as the Republicans keep this hard line nothing is going to get done on immigration including building a beautiful 2,000 mile 20 foot high fence.
