It is really really interesting to me.
During the Ferguson riots and even a disturbance prior to that, I and others, were told of the validity of the riots and how they were justified. That was when all we knew was that the story said that Michael Brown was "gunned down" by a bad white policeman. We have found out since that was not true at all, and that Michael Brown had committed crimes and disobeyed the officer and in fact attacked the officer. This all confirmed by THREE grand juries and the Federal investigation.
Ok.....THAT, on this forum was an ok march with burning buildings etc.
NOW, we have a march to "honor the non-violent civil rights work of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to focus attention on the plight of persecuted Christians in the Middle East (where hundreds of Christian women are being "sold" into sexual slavery by radical Islamists)."
And this march, unlike the Ferguson is made fun of. A few comments from the same folks who felt that the burning of business was just a ok and those who questioned it were "immoral" (yeah a poster called me that)
SAME PEOPLE SAID THIS STUFF ON THIS THREAD.
"That would be a wild car ride with the odor of both Ben-Gay and wacky-tabakky inside the car."
"God told Beck to go the rally. A long list of conversationalists with God include Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry, and Pat Robertson."
"Why make the list so short? God wants almost all those in the Republican clown bus to run. However, apparently God can't get them to actually win, thank God!"
"Climb back onto the Republican Clown Bus with your Tea Party haters."
"Just what will you do in the event that Hillary Clinton or another progressive Democrat wins the Presidency for the next 8 years?"
"..and to you - Are you still beating your wife? Just a yes or no, nothing else."
Now, just think about these people who find it their thing to mock this march, saluting the efforts of Dr King and protesting people being murdered because of their religion while at the same time saluting and applauding the burning of buildings for a cause not just. (PLEASE do not insult anyone by saying how it was racial injustice because it was not, and nobody is defending racial injustice)
The mindset is simply scary.
These people move among us.
