I had the YAG laser capsulotomy.
They gave me diluting drops for the YAG procedure, which was done in a small room. Numbing drops not needed for the YAG, since the machine never touches your eye. Looking into the machine, I saw 4 red lights in a small square, clicking noise as the laser does its' job. The clicks came from the machine but felt like they are echoing from the back of my skull. No pain at all, about 20-30 seconds for each eye.
No follow up meds were required.
I noticed some new floaters towards the bottom of the left eye, but they were mostly gone in a few hours and pretty much disappeared in a few days.
Piece of cake.
