Given the number of illegal immigrants in the country, and the length of time they probably have been here, the current immigration law needs to be changed. Enforcing the law as written deporting millions of illegals is not practical.
The House should have acted on the bipartisan Senate bill. By not acting, they have done nothing but prolonged the inevitable. If they didn't act upon the bill because who is president, that is inexcusable.
