I'm just offering the topic, in case anybody's been thinking about it and wants to post.
I wouldn't care for the job myself, I imagine you have to read too much of this stuff, referee , and make a judgment about who needs thumping, banning or time out, and the worst of it is when everybody wants to be the moderator and do the thumping themselves.
Levity, please. Did two beers Get banned?? Anybody know?
Any bets on how long this thread survives? Pass the popcorn, barefoot.

I do not always agree when a moderator deletes one of most posts but I always respect their opinion. As many of you recall there was an expression in the corporate would "its easy to manage from beneath" conducting personal evaluations is a very difficult task. It requires careful and objective analysis of the work product, the circumstances surrounding, the training education ,etc. sometimes you find an employee fails the company and sometimes you discover the company failed the employee
I suspect a moderator looks at the overall view of posters comments, the number of posts accumulated, the intent of the post, the poster's past behaviors to make such deletions. However, it also can be as simple as off topic.
I could be a moderator because I have always been interested in the way individuals think and relate to the world along with their life long experiences. People are truly fascinating creatures and if one remains objective despite the bad, the beautiful and the ugly you find some interesting stories. Now how can one get bored with that result? Isn't that one of the reasons why we all post here on this forum?
