So was Iraq "bogus" because there were no WMDs found, even though all the best intelligence suggested Hussein had them? Even today, I can hear the recorded cell phone call from one Iraqi general to another----"The UN team is headed your way, better move the "stuff"". What stuff would they want to hide from the UN---a box of twinkies?????. It's a large desert, it took 8 months to find Hussein in a hole, and he needed food, air and water. How hard to hide barrels of chemical weapons or nerve gas? We are still digging "stuff" up in the desert from 5,000 years ago. Truth is, that we will probably never know, but ultimately, "war is hell", and has tendencies to bend the usual sense of ethics and morality. Not saying that's right, just saying that's how it is.

Dear Guest: I happen to agree with you and the other posters about the war in Iraq. Sometime ago the Wall Street journal carried an article where the author said that just prior to our invasion Iraqi Republican guards replaced Syrian guards over night along the Syria/Iraq border implying that Iraq moved WMD to syria. About two weeks ago again in a Wall Street Journal article the author implied that WMD found in Syria had Iraqi origins
Even if you don't believe the aforementioned is it so hard to believe that Saddam who buried airplanes in the desert couldn't hide WMD
War is hell but we would be experiencing a living hell if not for the unselfish acts of brave men and women who strongly believe in our American way of life.
Personal Best Regards:
