My husband does not tinker in the garage, or I would see a benefit.
I see that Lonnie from Cool Breeze listed the benefits of having a garage screen much better than I could have. Let me just state that we had a Cool Breeze roll up screen installed to replace our sliding screen doors. The screen door is very secure. I guess if someone was intent on getting in, they could cut the screen.

The screen is also surprisingly private. There has been a couple of occasions where I was standing at the screen and the person walking up the drive could not see me. Driving down the street others cannot see into your garage. The only exception to this statement is at night and a light is on inside the garage.

I would recommend Cool Breeze as they did a great job for us and you will not go wrong with Lonnie. But who every you might choose, a roll up screen door is worth the investment. PM me if you would like more information
