I'm going to be in the same boat!! Mom and I have been renting our unfurnished TV home in a long-term rental program since 2012. I have a list of what I want to take to TV when the time comes. The plan now is to move: Mom's bedroom suite (2 years old), Mom's two lift chairs, a curio cabinet, TV cabinet, breakfast table and 3 bar stools. I've looked in Ocala, Leesburg and TV and I haven't seen anything that I like as much as the items I already have. Babettes didn't even acknowledge the three of us were in the store! And then there is all of the paperwork -- I have a ton of genealogy materials.

My problem is when I retired and moved home to help with my late father, I moved my stuff home then! Luckily, our Michigan home is large enough to hold my stuff and their stuff! So, I'm basically going to have to widdle down two homes to one! Yikes! I'm not looking forward to this as Mom has a lot of sentimental feelings over things my Dad gave her!

I would really like to take my home out of the rental program and at least be in TV part time. Unfortunately, my 91 year old mother likes the four seasons, her friends and family, her church and her Michigan doctors
