He is a socialist but socialism is not conducive to America. Here is one reason why. In Denmark for example socialism works well because the Dane's have an unwritten rule that no one takes more than they need. Not here in America those on the dole whether domestic or foreign milk our system dry.
Our market driven economy has lifted all boats. It may not be perfect but it is the best system in the world and the lefties are destroying it.
As to the Pope. The sexual abuse scandals deeply scarred the Church. The only Pope of Polish ancestry brought hope back to many. The current Pope appeared to have the makings to bring back many to the church because he appeared down to earth sensible etc. However he is either naive or an outright socialist and either way any idea I had to return has been forgotten because I disagree with much of what this Pope has said.
So I will continue to pray from my home follow Christ teachings in my every day life as I am sure a pure heart is as good as going to church will get me to heaven.

President Obama's act of being inclusive will be viewed by the pope as a really good thing. If the pope were to be offended it would be by the unchristian like comments I've read on this thread. You people have this smug attitude as though you're better than others and yet you are so far off track it is unbelievable. It is really sad that someone who is obviously a bigot could refer to themselves as pure of heart. Ugh!
