Bingo! We have already cleaned up our air. But, that doesn't help the rest of the world. We can't be the pollution police for everyone. When I was posted in Turkey, the air was so bad in the winter from burning soft coal that you couldn't see the top of the buildings from the ground. On the other hand, when I was in India, they did away with a lot of gasoline burning taxis and made them go to natural gas for the taxis and tuk-tuks in New Delhi. At the same time, they burnt so much manure that airlines couldn't land their planes at times in the winter, because of the smog. People can be convinced but it's wrong to mandate everyone to your view on the subject.
