I had TWO Siamese cats taken from our lanai this year!!!! Teo was taken from our lanai the night of January 15, 2015, but I found our screen door was not tightly latched and there was a muddy smeary print the size of a large dog's paw on our lanai - it was cold and raining that night, and I posted on this forum about it. I lost Timmer the night of October 1, 2015 - just three days ago -- and I had the checked the screen door and it was tightly latched. The screens were all intact, and I had no idea he was at risk. This time, the coyote tore through the screen. Here are Teo and Timmer together, before Teo was taken:
