If you re-read your post, coupled with the post from January, you might see why some doubted you. It's not an excuse, just an explanation, and again I'm sorry. It makes much more sense now that you were clear about 2 cats, and that there was evidence that the cat door/latch was the contributing factor to the 1st cat's disappearance, so you felt safe to let the 2nd cat out there with the door secure. Regarding the 2010 post describing your cat training, you must be amazing with animals. Perhaps a new animal planet network series, "the cat whisperer" is in your future.
