I guess I am confused, the streets are 2 way, so if you angle the sign for an easier read in one direction it should be much more difficult to read from the other direction, right?
You might be able to make an adapter using PVC pipe and hose clamps, painted to match your pole (black?) Take a large TEE connector with and ID the same size as the OD of your post. Cut it in half, so it will fit on to the post, then buy the parts to reduce the tap opening to whatever size pipe you purchased for your sign to hang from. Remove the existing piece supporting the sign, use the hose clamps to attach your adapter, and re-install your sign, and set to the new angle.
