The response by Sweetbay was pathetic.......rather than telling its consumers how the company would better protect its customers, it told the customers we should be alert.......and I must say after the fact. If this happened in December 2007 and they did not discover the problem until March 2008, that definitely says something about their security over credit card informtaion.
I spoke to a cashier at Sweetbay yesterday and she said she had over $1000 in charges from Walmart.com that had to be credited.
Again the manager of this store needs to be alerted first hand of the problems comming from his store and that the corporate response was insufficicnet and not very timely!!
