The point of the post that you are replying to in a political hack kind of way is that immigration reform is a big and complicated deal. It is not going to be resolved with political tricks by either party.
My post was not to defend either party, as yours was very party oriented.
It was defending a very short sighted, uninformed spin on the issue that in this case was trying to make Democrats heroes and Republicans bums.
Some day, post something that does not speak to your party. Read, get informed and then partake.
