That is true, someone has to complain about it to the ARC board, or just call them and give them the address of the home and they will send someone out to see if the homeowner has approval papers. We have done jobs over and over for people that had no approval papers. They were told they didn't need an approval, or their landscaper told them it was approved but the customer never received any approval papers. ( That's because the landscaper never intended to get approval or doesn't know how. ) We have done 6 jobs that were a year old on one street, where the customers have spent $5,000.00 to 13,000.00 on jobs and none of them were approved. You can imagine how the homeowners felt when we had to re-do them all in order to get them in compliance. Money spent on top of money because they were never told by their landscaper they needed to get approval, or their landscapers said they were approved, but never had any intentions of getting them approved, or said they were approved by their landscaper and the homeowners never received any paper work from the ARC board. Scam after scam after scam, I've heard it all and it still continues every day. Remember, if it sounds to good to be true it's probably not.
