Dress cool and bring a sweater.

Last night my husband had to go there with the color guard to practice their drill. When he returned he mentioned how hot the room was again. With women dressed in gowns, men in dress blues, etc. Tonight was completely unacceptable. The villages had to have notice of problems with the ac and did not repair immediately hopefully this does not become the norm. Needless to say, we had to leave as most people did. $90.oo down the drain

"Dress cool and bring a sweater"? How in the world are men/women
in Marine dress blues going to dress cool and wear a sweater???
I can see how the a/c shouldn't be adjusted with every complaint thru the day/evening. But, when there are hundreds of people at a function like this Marine one, it's going to get hot in there just because of the number of people attending and dancing. The a/c should be lowered a bit for a large group like that, if they ask.
BTW, my post #3 referred to attacks on the o.p. because attacks are inevitable--
the reason the o.p. prefaced the whole thing by saying how they love it here. They, too, knew being told to "love it or leave it" was coming.
