The ninety dollars lost in a hot and unusable room really smarts. But I have usually felt the need for a winter coat in most rooms in rec centers when they close the doors.

We go to Colony a lot and it is always nice in there. I do take tickets at the door for a large 250 people club that meets there once per month. It is bands and dancing all night. The only person allowed to tell the staff to turn down the temperature is the person who booked the room. Not even I can do it, it has to come from him. Possibly the complaints should go to the person booking the room so he in turn can ask the staff to adjust the temp. Just a thought. There may well be some issues with some of the rooms in other rec centers. I have no knowledge of that.
