I also have opinions on his "followers". I think some actually believe in the moves being made. I think some totally oppose it. I think some are uncomfortable but are being pulled along by party loyalty.

Socialism, anarchy and anything related have proven over centuries to be a failed concept. It has destroyed economies and countries when tried. The movement in the Democratic party going so fast forward to this kind of government is downright scary.

I hear folks demonizing the tax plans of the Republican candidates. They say loudly it favors the rich. CRAP. It helps all and does favor CORPORATIONS, the ones with the jobs. That is heresy to anyone with the socialist and anarchy bones in them but it is true. We hear very little about any tax plans from the left.

Next thing to remember...NO CANDIDATE can simply swoop in and put in his/her tax plan. These plans are simply allowing us a look at how the candidate feels about certain things. Trust me, nobody's tax plan is going into effect just like the media is presenting it to us.

I honestly feel very pessimistic about what is happening in this country. I said back in 2008 that if President Obama was elected we would move closer to this stage of socialism, etc. His supporters on this board said that cannot happen...but guess what. It has happened so close to what I said it scares me.

That is not me patting myself on the back...trust me, I am not that smart. I read all of his writings, ALL of them. I read any archives from Chicago that I could get hold of about what he was doing and what he was saying.

NOT ONE THING is a surprise to me, and I am not enthusiastic about our future, and that does not mean one party versus another.

We are on the verge, not of party change but a basic change in our country. Warts and all, we have done well. We do need changes. We do NOT need this quick in this direction, and that is my concern. I think it is now out of control and as they say "cannot be put back in the bottle"
