I think he really believes that he is fighting ISIS. I think he sincerely believes it.

IS Barack Obama.
His entire life....I mean all of it...has been spent convincing people with his great speaking skills. He is always "politicking"..that is our President.
So often, I just wish he would come on television and speak to the American People about what is going on, not worry about how it looks to the Democratic party or in the press, just tell the truth.
I do not think he ever will do that.....it is just not part of his make up.
He is a very smart man and his way is the only way and he sees his job to convince you that he is right, whether he is or not.
I was shocked today and if you get a chance to read Phyllis Schlafly's column, it was just shocking at what he convinced John Boehner to give up and it surely makes you realize why Boehner is not there. The good part is that Ryan will fix it. I have been saying over and over...why are the Republicans not more aggressive since they own congress and why are they not getting more of what they want....well, reading how he had manipulated Boehner to get control that usually is in Congress tells me how. BUT, those days will be over.
But he is smart...do not think he is dumb. He just thinks he is right always.
