Re: GAS !!!
Reminds me of a long ago incident. We had a young cocker female, beautiful little thing, and she went into heat. While we had planned to breed her, we weren't quite ready so I cautioned my wife not to let the dog out of her sight when she was in our back yard. Well, unfortunately, with a little child, she had to take her eyes off the dog just for a moment. When she got back, the wise old beagle from down the street was doing the dirty deed. My wife called me in a panic and asked what to do. I said, "get a chair and watch and hope that the old guy isn't as potent as he might have been". Several weeks later we had cocker-beagles which we gave away..amazing how fast they went to good homes. Cindy got spayed shortly thereafter and lived a long happy life with us. A few years later we came back to Manassas to visit and saw the cocker-beagles. They were sweet!
