This is an unfortunate incident that could have happened to any food company, chain, etc. Chipotle might be more susceptible to it though because they use all organic ingredients. The real culprit might be the fact there is little real monitoring, control, tracking etc of our nations food chain. It's one of the trade offs in the way we collectively choose to run our government versus private industry self policing system of controls.

I'm not trying to make a political statement, because I don't pretend to know the right answers and this is certainly not the place to discuss it. I don't care if the government has zero involvement, but I do care that the issue is addressed and when I go to eat at an establishment that is allowed to serve the public, my health is not at risk.

Oh--by the way, I love Chipotles! But then if you haven't had a true southwestern palate experience you might not understand.
