I don't think anyone is claiming that her character is equal to Spader but the plot lines have always had her involved and her visibility continues to play a major role in the plot. Other than Spader, it is an ensemble cast and is another good guy bad guy show, just there are a bunch of good guys and a bunch of bad guys. Not sure the show would be much without Spader.
