My wife and I saw "ROOM" this afternoon. It was more than I expected. It's a strong likelihood that Brie Larson (who played "Ma") will get a Best Actress nomination and that Jacob Tremblay (who played the 5-year old son) will get a nomination for an actor in a supporting role. I believe both are new, or at least relatively new to the movie industry, but both are real talents.

While the movie was a little dark with a challenging premise and some difficult scenes to watch, it was done very well and shows the strong familial relationships that exist in most families.

BTW, a really sad "thing" is that we saw it at 4:30 this afternoon and no one else was in the theater and we were told we were the first people to see the movie, period. That is a crying shame.

It is an excellent movie and I highly recommend that YOU see it.
