I hope all of this nastiness toward police officers will not keep the good and brave and strong and morally right people from choosing this job to protect us.
I also think that every child in this country no matter his/her color or hue should be taught to respect authority within reason and to do what is directed if you should ever be arrested.
I also think that something serious has gone wrong with folks learning the ten commandments or the secular version thereof. We cannot live in large groups without rules and having them enforced.

Thank you Taltarzac725 and gracie girl; my wife and I survived careers as LEO's and I ask God everyday to watch over our son, who is a member of the KCPD SWAT Team.
I can honestly say that we were both fair in our treatment of people throughout our careers; unfortunately, we were both involved in shootings on the same day, two years apart, against people that made the decision to try and end our lives.
Are there LEO's that live outside the law? Absolutely. Are there LEO's that are bullies? Absolutely. Should LEO's be held to a higher standard? Absolutely. It is extremely hard to be a LEO today because there are - children are growing up with parents who won't/can't teach them between right and wrong, people with absolutely no respect of the law (black lives matter), thugs living in a culture where they don't want to work and would rather steal from people (including us Villagers), people that brutally assassinate Police Officers for no reason other than their hatred towards them - I could go on and on.
Again, thanks to all of you that support the men and women in blue; blue lives matter.
