See, though I differ with you on occasion, I find your comments here to be right on target. Certainly there are cases of violent change in a government, economic, and social structure, but theyare relatively rare. Generally change takes place over time, with almost invisible steps. You never notice the small tweaks, but when you look at the situation in retrospect, you're amazed at the change.
