I can now donate blood/platelets/etc. again after the two months I had to take off because of the major mess-up with the needle going through my vein on October 8, 2015 at the Villages Regional Blood donation center.
I am a little reluctant to go back considering the month or so my left arm was covered with bruises but I expect that all parties especially me will be a lot more vigilant about any problems.
I do have appointments lined up for both whole blood and platelets but it is still going to take some courage.
