It took moments for Timothy McVeigh to be labeled a terrorist. What's the difference between his "act of terrorism" and the one with which we are now dealing? Euphemisms and semantics cannot alter fact. What you are suggesting is PC...
and I would not take stock in anything CNN, the Washington Post or Wiki says...they, too, are biased. That's my opinion, the right to which I'm sure you would defend to the end.
