Hi CFrance: I just happened on your response this PM 12/6/15. I went back and looked at my post and said the flu shot has an efficacy of three months. I should have explained what i meant and that is it begins to lose its potency. since the flu season goes beyond the holidays, my wife and I choose to get innoculated mid-to late October to extend a more effective period when the flu season is likely to begin.
