This is the link to the Sumter County Appraisal office which shows the number of homes sold in each month in Sumter County. http://qpublic.net/sumter/
From browsing thru the listings for january, it appears that they sold about 140 homes (approximately) in The villages in January. It looks like February was around 185 or so. These sales listings include used homes (re-sales). Hope this helps!
